Kanchipuram: 292 students are studying in the municipal primary school in Thirukalimet, Kanchipuram. Mohankumar is working as the headmaster of this school.

In order to encourage the students of this school to continue coming to school without taking a single day of ‘leave’, the headmaster, at his own expense, has been praising and encouraging the students by giving them gifts like pens, pencils and notebooks every month.

Accordingly, the prize ceremony for 75 students who did not take a single day of leave last December was held yesterday in the school premises.

Chinna Kanchipuram BMS, Girls High School Headmistress Gomati distributed prizes to the students.

District Resource Center Teacher Instructor Bonvel, school teacher and teachers participated in this event.

Mohankumar, the headmaster of the school, said:
