Puducherry:
A total of 35 teams, both men’s and women’s, played volleyball at the Brothers Sports Club in Villianur.
Home Minister Namachchivayam presented trophies and prizes to the winning teams in the final. In the men’s category, Karuvadikuppam Spider team won the first prize, Ariyankuppam Bharathidasan team won the second prize, Kompakkam Brothers team won the third prize and Dharmapuri Jolly Friends team won the fourth prize.
In the women’s category, the first prize went to Puduvai Narendra, the second prize went to Karuvadikkuppam Spider, the third prize went to Sivanthi Club and the fourth prize went to Kombakkam Brothers.
The arrangements for the festival were made by Sports Club Secretary Gandhi, Club President Sivasankaran, Deputy Secretary Vinod, Treasurer Thiraviyaraj, Coordinator Dass and Member Sarachandran.
