The awarding ceremony of Sivagangai District Cricket Association’s league competition for the year 2021-2022 was held at Karaikudi Alagappa University Stadium. Alagappa University Vice-Chancellor Ravi was the special guest and Ramakrishnan, Secretary of Madurai District Cricket Association was the guest of honor and distributed the prizes.
Kovilur D.C.P.L won the first position in A category. The second place was won by Karaikudi Lathip Memorial Cricket Team, the first place was won by Devakottai Juniors team in the B category, the second place was won by Sachin Brothers team, the first place was won by Censor team and the second place was won by Karaikudi Alagappa Government College of Arts.
Tuticorin District Cricket Association Secretary Sivakumaran, Alagappa University Physical Education Principal Rajalakshmi, Managiri Apollo Hospital Dr. Tirupati also participated in the ceremony. Priyadarshini, who was selected for the Tamil Nadu Women’s Under-15 round robin team, was felicitated at the function, while Ramachandran and Suresh Kannan, who were selected for the Tamil Nadu Wheel Chairs team, were felicitated by the University Vice-Chancellor. All Sivaganga district administrators participated in the function.
