“Prizma” won 3:2 (2:1, 0:1, 0:0, 1:0) in extra time.

In the eighth minute, Matīss Bīriņš put “Prism” in the lead, but in the 17th minute, Elviss Želubovskis equalized – 1:1.

47 seconds later, “Prizma” took the lead again, when Rodrigo Strautiņš stood out with an accurate shot.

The champion equalized in the 34th minute, when Kristers Anson scored – 2:2.

At the end of the fourth minute of overtime, Krists Apsītis scored the winning goal – 3:2.

Bīriņš collected two (1+1) performance points, while Marshall Murphy saved 19 shots in the winning goal.

For the home team, Kārlis Mežsargs saved 14 of 17 shots.

In the second game, “Zemgale”/LBTU defeated Tallinn “Panter” 7:1 (0:1, 4:0, 3:0) in Tallinn.

Richards Bernhards (2+0), Gustavs Millers (1+1) and Dāniels Andersons (0+2) scored two points each, while Artūrs Brikmanis, Kristaps Roķis, Roberts Vītols and Kevin Strādnieks also scored.

In the goal, Marius Bajarun-Galey saved three of the four shots of the home team.

Daniils Fursa scored the only goal for the home team, while Willems Henriks Koitma saved 28 of 35 shots.

Latvia is represented in the tournament by “Mogo”/RSU, “Rīga hockey school”, “Zemgale”/LBTU and “Prizma”, Lithuania by Elektrēna “Energija” and Vilnius “Hockey Punks”, and Estonia by Tallinn “Panter”.

The winner of the OHL playoffs will be crowned the Baltic champion, while the top-placed Latvian and Lithuanian teams will be recognized as the champions of their respective countries.

In the OHL championship, teams play a six-round tournament with 126 games played.

In the previous season, the “Mogo”/RSU hockey players became the champions, beating the “Zemgale”/LBTU team 4-1 in the final series.
