Potchefstroom: India beat South Africa 10-2 in the FIH Pro League Hockey Tournament.

Jagraj Singh scored a hat-trick for India in the match which ended at midnight on Wednesday Indian time. He converted a penalty in the 4th, 6th and 23rd minutes. Apart from Awa, Kuzahipjit Singh (24 ‘and 36’), Dilpreet Singh (25 ‘and 58’) each scored 2 goals while Hamanpreet Singh (2 ‘), Abhishek (12’) and Mandeep Singh (27 ‘) also scored.

Daniel Bell (44 ‘) scored from a penalty corner for South Africa, with Richard Balts scoring a field goal the next minute.

In the next match, India will face France again for the 2nd time next Saturday. Earlier, India had beaten the team 5-0 in a match last Tuesday.
