Democratic Representative Brad Schneider tweeted that his Capitol Hill office was vandalized yesterday “in a vile act of hate.”

“Posters depicting more than 100 people still held hostage in Gaza (including 8 Americans) were torn off the wall, torn to shreds and scattered across the corridor,” he wrote.

“Unfortunately, this was just one of many hateful, un-American actions that took place across the country on a day when we celebrate freedom and democracy. I am outraged by the videos and reports of people calling the Fourth of July a ‘terrorist holiday’ and burning American flags. This is not just happening in my office in Washington. More than 700 miles from the Capitol, my home was attacked last weekend at 2:30 a.m. by about 50 masked protesters beating drums, blowing horns, and shouting anti-Semitic chants,” the politician continued.

He said the same groups that were at his home earlier in the week marched through Chicago on July 4, “not calling for peace, but condemning the United States of America.”

“These actions do not promote peace. On the contrary, they directly play into the hands of Hamas terrorists, allowing them to continue to hold hostage not only those they kidnapped from Israel, but all the civilians of Gaza,” Schneider wrote.

Earlier, Cursor wrote that a blatant case of anti-Semitism occurred in the London Underground.
