PROBABLE LINE-UPS | Padova, with Alcione an unprecedented challenge in search of a poker of victories | TgBiancoscudato

by time news

Fourth championship challenge for the white-and-blues who tonight, Saturday 14 September, return to Euganeo after two consecutive away rounds and face the newly promoted Alcione in an absolutely new challenge (kick-off at 20:45). After 3 successes in the first three games (and the fourth victory obtained by Renate momentarily first alone) the objective of Padova can only be to continue on the path traced in this beautiful start to the championship aiming to land a poker on the table of group A. As usual it will not be easy: the biggest mistake would be to rest on our laurels, to decrease even unconsciously the intensity, in the weekly work and in the performance. This must not be the case, also because Alcione, in which the former Palombi plays, has collected less than it deserved so far but still lives on the enthusiasm of the rookie.

The Padova lineup is obviously not known in detail, but the feeling is that, this time, the coach will not make any changes. The Padova seen in Arzignano was too good to change even just a few players (as happened in the first three days). The only doubt remains that of the central striker: Spagnoli has only lacked a goal so far but up front he has carried out a (thankless) and fundamental task for the team, Bortolussi however has been ready, scoring two goals after coming on during the match. We’ll see who will win.
