Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger hit the theaters on August 25 this year
Hyderabad: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Telugu actor Vijay Devarakonda in connection with the financial transaction related to the movie Ligar. The actor appeared at the ED regional office in Hyderabad. Earlier, the ED had also questioned the film’s director Puri Jagannath and actress-producer Charmi Kaur.
The ED is probing the film’s financial resources, remuneration and payments to actors including Mike Tyson. Violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) are also being investigated. Warangal-based Congress leader Bakka Judson had filed a complaint with the ED alleging that several politicians had invested in a Rs 125 crore film to launder black money.
Vijay Devarakonda starrer Liger hit the theaters on August 25 this year. The film was directed by Puri Jagannath. The film is distributed by Yash Raj Films. Ananya Pandey is playing the female lead in the film.
