Narikkudi: The Central and State Governments are offering various incentives to upgrade various technologies including software for small and micro enterprises in the district and the small enterprises are lagging behind in acquiring technical knowledge. The next step is to create the necessary awareness for small and micro enterprises.

Manufacturing service and business based small and micro enterprises in the district are operating with an investment of less than Rs. 5 crore. Employees depend on email, online marketing, GST, income tax, etc. If they go to another job, they will face a loss. Lack of awareness about activities like software, App, so no interest in it.

The federal and state governments offer and train a variety of things, including software. Buying software as a separate entity is more expensive. It is cheaper and easier to maintain if purchased jointly by companies in the same sector through associations. The next step can be achieved if the owners of the companies are aware of this.

Various loans are provided to the educated youth through the District Business Center. Young people in rural areas are not aware enough about this. Improving this will increase the number of new businesses and increase the economic status of the district to the next level.
