The collection of Alzheimer Nederland raised € 2,465 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel in the week from 6 to 13 November. The organization thanks all donors and collectors for this.
For a future without dementia
Attention to dementia is necessary, because 1 in 5 people get dementia and even 1 in 3 women. At the moment, more than 290,000 people in the Netherlands are living with this disease. The number of people with dementia is expected to rise to over half a million in 2040. Something needs to be done about this. With more research, we are getting closer to a future without dementia.
