Process in Graz: Farmer was looking for killers for rivals

by time news

As of Tuesday, a Styrian must answer to a jury in the Graz Criminal Court for attempted determination of murder. According to the indictment, he could not bear that his ex-girlfriend had a partner again and is said to have offered a friend 10,000 euros so that he would look for a killer on the dark web. The farmer was arrested in June 2021 and is now on trial for three days.

The Styrian (28) is said to have had a more or less permanent relationship with the young woman since 2018. She wanted him to seek psychiatric treatment for his recurrent suicidal thoughts. He refused, and in 2021 she broke up with him. When she had a new partner, the man asked a friend to find a hitman for the rival. He wanted to pay 10,000 euros to make it look like a hit-and-run car accident. The jury hearing was scheduled for three days, with a verdict announced for Thursday (February 24).
