Product recall: Petit Navire smoked salmon sold at E. Leclerc concerned

by time news

The recall has been running since December 16. Customers who have bought a certain batch of smoked salmon from the Petit Navire brand distributed by a central belonging to the E. Leclerc group must return them, announces the government site recall conso.

These are packs of ten slices of smoked salmon “Highlands of Scotland”, weighing 300 g. The products would have different use-by dates (DLC) due to a labeling error.

It is not recommended to eat fish

The affected products carry the batch number 10352143280 and the barcode 3760253432306. The correct DLC, according to Rappel Conso, is January 4, 2023, but it is not recommended to consume the fish.

Customers can return the product to the store until this date if they want to benefit from an exchange or a refund.

In recent days, several products have been recalled, including foie gras, grated Emmenthal sachets from the Biocoop brand and derinded cooked ham from the Métro chef brand, samples of which revealed the presence of listeria monocytogenesis, a bacterium that can cause fevers, nausea, and have serious consequences for fragile people.
