Progressive leaders discuss a common agenda between Europe and Latin America

This Wednesday the second edition of Latin America Day of the social democratic group in the European Parliament will be held in Brussels. The theme of this edition is Towards a new progressive EU-Latin America agenda.

The objective of the act is to strengthen ties between the progressive forces of Latin America and Europe, as well as to contribute to the debate and the promotion of greater and better cooperation in order to create and apply an ambitious social, democratic and environmental agenda in both regions.

The S&D group considers it necessary to open spaces for dialogue to reflect on how to reinforce our common values ​​and interests throughout the world, and on how to effectively address – and together – current global challenges.
