Visionary initiatives: businesses for an unfettered future” comes to the tenth edition of Ona Film Festival another to present projects from his vision of the future. The nine selected projects will be announced on October 9 on the festival’s website and social networks.

About Another Way Film Festival

It is a sustainable film festival on sustainable development in Madrid with a national presence that this year will celebrate its tenth edition from October 16 to 22 in person and online format. Its program consists of 37 titles divided between documentaries, feature films and short films on topics such as climate change, globalization and its consequences, the protection of human rights, our relationship with the rural environment, smart and fair. His film program is completed with 10 collective works whose purpose is to build the imagination towards an unfettered future, promoting unity and harmony with nature. They are intended for all types of audience, from professional to family audience.

Venues where you can see screenings and participate in their activities are: Cineteca Madrid, Filmoteca Española, Sala Equis, Institut français de Madrid, mk2 Cine Paz, Eugenio Trías Municipal Public Library, Impact Hub Alameda and Filmin.

Of the 15 documentary films in competition, 10 came from the Official Section and emerged to win the Jury Prize for Best Film of €1,500. Regardless of the section, the following prizes will also be awarded: WWF Inspiring the Planet Prize of €1,000, based on finding solutions to environmental problems with a human approach and hope; the EELISA (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance) mentions, a support valued at €2,000 to show the winning film in some partner universities; and two Audience Prizes, one per section, consisting of accessories made with recycled material courtesy of the Sin Desperdicio brand.

In addition, eight national short films from “Rueda por el Cambio”, a section supported by Signus Ecovalor, compete for the Jury Prize of €600, and eight international short films compete for the Caller’s Prize of €400, intended for working with the most views on the festival’s YouTube channel.
