The study was conducted by Scott Lear, a professor of wellness science at Simon Fraser University, and Wei Lee of the Chinese Medical Academy in Beijing.

Mortality and cardiovascular disease are more common in middle age in this study. Prolonged sedentary morbidity and mortality and serious illness are the most prevalent problems in low-income and middle-income countries.

He warns that those who sit and work for more than 8 hours a day face the same impact as those who die from obesity and smoking, and that a sedentary lifestyle is dangerous. You can live a healthier lifestyle if you follow less sitting or lying down during the day.
