Proof of non-COVID-19 requirements are eliminated for travelers without respiratory symptoms – Ministry of Public Health

Quito, February 17, 2023

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) informs passengers arriving in the country from abroad that the elimination of requirements such as RT-PCR tests, vaccination card and traveler’s health declaration for COVID-19 is in force. According to recent guidelines for travelers who do not present respiratory symptoms upon entering the country.

There is an exception for people with respiratory symptoms related to notifiable diseases, who must wear a mask, perform the PCR test if necessary.

This resolution was adopted due to the manifested downward trend in the national epidemiological situation due to COVID-19.
