Fortunat Biselele, former Private Advisor to Félix Tshisekedi, prosecuted for treason, undermining state security and spreading false rumors, has just been acquitted by the Kinshasa / Gombe High Court this Tuesday, August 22, 2023. C It was his lawyer, Maître Jean-Claude Mulingenya, who confirmed this to ACTUALITE.CD.
“The High Court has just acquitted him. The court found that the people who accused him were wrong to do so. He is free from any prosecution because the offenses with which he was accused had no reason to be, “said the lawyer to ACTUALITE.CD.
Fortunat Biselele had benefited from a provisional release from this same high court on July 21st.
And yet while the case was pending, the former Privy Councilor to the Head of State had suspected the court which was examining his case by seizing the Kinshasa / Gombe Court of Appeal for legitimate suspicion. Through this procedure, he requested that his case leave the Gombe High Court suspected of bias and be referred to another High Court.
