The United States ambassador to Ecuador, Arthur Brown, who presented his credentials in June, has a schedule of meetings with senior officials in the country. Brown was accompanied by the director of the Office of Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and a delegation from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Arthur Brown will take over as U.S. ambassador to Ecuador in June 2024, replacing Michael Fitzpatrick.
