The Prosecutor of the Nation, Patricia Benavides, filed a constitutional complaint against former President Martín Vizcarra Cornejo and former Minister of Health, Pilar Mazzetti Soler, as alleged perpetrators of the crime against the public administration in the form of concussion. The constitutional complaint corresponds to the irregular vaccination of state officials.

The constitutional complaint corresponds to Vacunagate, as the case involving 487 people who

irregularly received Sinopharm’s vaccine candidate in Peru.

Along with the doses sent by Sinopharm for the trial in Peru, the Chinese laboratory delivered 3,200 doses so that the teams in charge of the trial can inoculate their researchers.

Senior officials and businessmen benefited from a batch of 3,200 doses that arrived in the country through customs and outside the Phase III Clinical Trial carried out by the Cayetano Heredia University.
