Other institutions such as the Ministry of the Interior, the military and police forces, the Government of Caquetá and the Icbf, among others, were in the security council where the heinous crime was dealt with, cataloged by President Gustavo Petro as “a slap to peace”.
From the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace, chaired by Danilo Rueda, issued a statement confirming and rejecting the murder of the four indigenous youth.
They indicated that those responsible for the act were members of the Carolina Ramírez front, of the Central General Staff, under the command of “Iván Mordisco”. “Murder and recruitment are mechanisms for the extermination of indigenous peoples and, therefore, are inexcusable acts,” they stated in the statement.
From the Commissioner’s Office they reiterated that The call to the armed groups is to end the conflict and thus achieve the consolidation of peace with social and environmental justice. “This crime against humanity in Putumayo is a call for Carolina Ramírez to act in coherence with the requirements of IHL,” they pointed out.
