Under the direction of the District Prosecutor’s Office – Montana, an investigation is being conducted into a pre-trial proceeding for causing moderate bodily injury to an 88-year-old woman. This was announced by the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office – Sofia.
On 06.09.2024, police officers visited the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance in the city of Montana in connection with an admitted elderly woman suspected of being beaten.
Due to her serious condition, the victim was admitted for treatment in the surgical department of the “Stamen Iliev” hospital in the city.
The supervising prosecutor gave instructions to the investigating body regarding the establishment of facts and circumstances to clarify the objective truth and the factual situation of the committed act – conducting an inspection of the scene of the accident, questioning witnesses, appointing a forensic medical examination regarding the bodily injuries caused to the elderly woman.
According to initial data, the incident took place on 06.09.2024 in the village of Sumer, Montana region, in the home of the victim – 88-year-old Y.K.
