Miguel Ángel “N”, also known as the “Periférico Serial Rapist or Abuser”, will spend more years in prison because the Prosecutor’s Office General of Justice of Mexico City managed to increase one of his sentences.
The convicted Miguel Ángel “N” faced 19 sentences, however, after investigative work by the Prosecutor’s Office itself, his sentence was increased.

The sentence that was increased corresponds to one that was handed down last December, where a Court sentenced Miguel Ángel “N” to 23 years and 9 months.
The sentence was now extended because the social representation of the Sexual Crimes Investigation Prosecutor’s Office, of the General Coordination of Gender Crimes Investigation and Attention to Victims, appealed the Court’s decision.
Following the actions carried out by the representatives, the sentence would now be increased to 35 years and 4 months for the person involved.

It should be remembered that Miguel “N” faces 19 sentences for crimes, for which he already has 285 years in prison, for his criminal responsibility in said crimes.
According to Ulises Lara, the subject faces investigations for acts committed in 2012, 2019, 2020 and until 2021.
