A meeting with representatives of one of the leading medical universities in Korea, Kyung Hee University, was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
As reported on Wednesday by Day.Az with reference to the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, after welcoming the guests, the Minister of Health emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea.
Teymur Musayev noted the existence of broad potential for developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare.
“The Republic of Korea has a developed healthcare system. Around the world, digital technologies are a priority for the development of this area, which are the most important element of the healthcare of the future. Digitalization ensures the availability and quality of services without increasing healthcare costs. At the same time, the development of digital medicine is impossible without government participation. We are interested in studying the Korean experience of organizing the healthcare system,” he said.
The Minister expressed confidence in the successful development of bilateral cooperation.
Noting the high hospitality of the Azerbaijani people, representatives of Kyung Hee University emphasized that such meetings are very important in terms of exchanging experience and knowledge.
Interest was also expressed in fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
It was brought to attention that the Kyung Hee University system is considered a leading educational institution in traditional Korean medicine and includes about 50 subsidiary research institutes.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential opportunities for mutual cooperation in various areas.
