Strong performance by Felix Streng: The prosthetic sprinter won bronze in the 100 meters in Paris. Johannes Floors finished just behind.

Prosthetic sprinter Felix Streng won bronze at the Paralympic Summer Games in Paris. The Tokyo winner finished third in the 100 m in the T64 starting class in 10.77 seconds.

400 m Paralympic champion Johannes Floors came in fourth place in 10.85 seconds, just behind Streng, and missed out on another medal in the shortest sprint distance after winning bronze three years ago.

Streng, who is training in London, won the second medal in German athletics. He was one hundredth of a second behind the Italian Maxcel Amo Manu, who came second, and twelve hundredths behind the winner Sherman Isidro Guity Guity from Costa Rica.

In 2021 in Japan, Streng was the winner over 100 m in a photo finish. The Bolivian-born runner is now also expecting something over 200 m next Saturday. In Tokyo, he won silver over this distance.
