The protest against the legal reform of Yariv Levin and Binyamin Netanyahu will continue tomorrow (Saturday) in various locations throughout the country, the main ones in Tel Aviv – Kaplan Street and HaBima Square, where the demonstration of the Movement for the Quality of Government will be held in which the main speaker will be the former Police Commissioner, Chief Superintendent Roni Alsheich. Traffic changes and roadblocks are expected ahead of the demonstrations.

The Movement for the Quality of Government stated that “on Shabbat we will also hold the demonstration in the square of the Bima Square against the regime coup and the dangerous reforms that Netanyahu and his partners are planning. The demonstration is being held under the title ‘Freedom. Equality. Quality of Government.'” The demonstration is expected to start at 19:00.

The demonstration will be attended by Retired Superintendent Roni Elsheikh, former Commissioner of the Israel Police, singer Rona Keenan, Prof. Yaniv Roznai, constitutional law expert, Reichman University, Attorney Tomer Naor, Director of the Legal Department of the Movement for the Quality of Government, former MK Shirley Pinto, Professor Hagai Levin, the white coat doctors’ protest, former MK Colt Avital and the Terram band.

The Movement for the Quality of Government: “The large public that takes to the streets week after week continuously has its say. We will not be seen and we will not be deterred. This is a battle for the image and identity of the State of Israel as a democratic and liberal state. We are obligated to preserve Israeli democracy and this is what we will do. We will continue to demonstrate in every square and on every platform For democracy and freedom, and against fascism and corruption.”
