Relatives of Ilkin Suleymanov, who was accused of killing a minor on May 12, held a protest in front of the building of the General Prosecutor’s Office. They protested the decision of the public prosecutor. Relatives of the accused say that Ilkin is innocent, but they do not release him in the absence of any evidence in court.
On May 3, state prosecutor Ilkin Süleymanova asked for a 20-year prison sentence at the Ganja Serious Crimes Court.
Ilkin Suleymanov, a resident of Dondar Gushchu village of Tovuz region, is accused of killing his 10-year-old fellow villager Narmin Guliyeva, who went missing on November 19, 2019, and her burnt body was found on January 6, 2020.
