Keep your head up. There are enough sensitive, intelligent, honest people in this town who appreciate your voice. These dark times need a brave man like you.’
Explaining the reason behind the status on Facebook, Anjan Dutt wrote, ‘I am very proud to know you. Have seen you stand up for the right cause for decades. Your voice matters to the countless women who have suffered, are suffering, and will continue to suffer under this system. Your voice matters to countless people who seek justice against corruption. I know, I could have called you to tell you that. But I think it is necessary to write the words publicly. Because it has nothing to do with the movies we make or the work we do.’
