Title: Activists Create Website to Discredit Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu During US Visit

Date: [Date]

In the midst of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political visit to the United States, activists have taken their protests online by purchasing a domain in his name, “Netanyahu.org.” The website, which will operate exclusively in English, aims to shed light on the government and the legal revolution in Israel, with the intent of discrediting it.

The initiators of this action stated that their goal is to counter the false propaganda that Netanyahu is promoting both to the world and to the Israeli public. The website, they say, will provide facts about what they believe is a racist government. In addition to a biography of the Prime Minister, they have created a “Wikipedia” about what they consider to be the most corrupt and extreme government in Israeli history.

On Monday, Prime Minister Netanyahu, accompanied by his wife Sara, embarked on his first political visit to the United States since forming his sixth government eight and a half months ago. The trip kicked off with their arrival in San Jose, California, where they will meet with entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk to discuss artificial intelligence in San Francisco.

However, the Prime Minister’s visit has not been without controversy. Demonstrators from both the United States and Israel gathered to protest against Netanyahu’s government and legal legislation. Even as the Prime Minister was en route to California, protestors projected the message “Welcome Bibi” onto the famous Alcatraz prison, alongside an image of Netanyahu depicted as a prisoner. In another location in the US, protestors referred to the Prime Minister as a “dictator on the run.”

In response to these protests, Netanyahu attacked the demonstrators, claiming that they are “united with the PLO and Iran.” He further accused them of organizing and financing their actions, impacting the country on multiple fronts and defaming Israel worldwide.

The Prime Minister’s Office later clarified his remarks, stating that his use of the word “companions” referred to the fact that Israeli citizens were demonstrating alongside supporters of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) and BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) movement during his attendance at the United Nations General Assembly.

Later this week, Netanyahu is expected to travel to New York to meet with several world leaders, including United States President Joe Biden, whom he will meet on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The Israeli Prime Minister is also scheduled to address the General Assembly on Friday and hold meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

It remains to be seen how the online protest through the newly created website, combined with the physical demonstrations, will impact Netanyahu’s visit and his engagement with international leaders in the United States.
