Protests are being prepared in various sectors. People in the capital’s public transport are waiting for a second wage increase. In health care, they have been trying to negotiate the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) for half a year. There is uncertainty, volatility and ambiguity in the energy sector in the coal sector. This is what KNSB president Plamen Dimitrov said in the studio “Wake Up” on Nova TV.
According to him, the Climate and Energy Plan should be finalized in the summer. “Among the areas that need the most support are the engineering sector, the chemical industry, the production of medicines. The 250 million BGN voted before the elections are still gone. The enterprises survive with bank loans. The mines need to offer ways and reclamation measures,” he believes.
The trade unionist is pessimistic that a regular cabinet will be formed. His opinion is that new early elections are coming. “It is logical to support employment. There is no hearing, for 7-8 months we want to talk, but there is no desire. Jobs are the goal, not helping companies. Companies from the “Unemployment” fund should help hire people on a part-time basis , but not to release people”, urged Dimitrov.
The government proposes that the poverty line for 2025 be BGN 638. KNSB approves this proposal, but believes that the methodology should be changed. “The consumer price index that is taken should be oriented towards the small consumer basket,” he added.
