New Delhi: The country is preparing for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party in China. President Xi Jinping will be approved for a third term as president. Widespread protests were held across the world against the country’s national day.

1949- Oct. 1 Chinese Premier Ma Tsetung hoists the Chinese national flag in Tiananmen Square. He announced the birth of a communist country called the People’s Republic of China. Oct. 2- The new government passed a resolution to celebrate Oct. 1 as China’s National Day. Meanwhile, Tibetan youth protested against the National Day outside the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi yesterday. They demanded an end to the mass harvesting of genes from Tibetans.

Apart from this, protests were also carried out in the countries of the world. People took to the streets in Tokyo, Japan and protested in support of people in Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Slogans were raised in the protest against China’s encroachment into all minority areas.

A small-scale protest was held in front of the Chinese embassy in Vienna, Austria. Protesters chanted anti-China posters and Tibetan flags. Various social organizations also participated in the protest in Paris, France, against the human rights violations against various minority groups by the Chinese government.

Hong Kong, Uighurs in France, Mongolians, Taiwanese and Vietnamese groups also participated in the protest. Protests also took place in New York, California and Canada.
