jpnn.comJAKARTA – Making the nation proud, Indonesian racer Dypo Fitra climbed to the podium in Race 5, TCR Asia International Series 2024.
The prestigious racing event will be held at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, Saturday, August 24, 2024.
Dypo, who is a racer for the Bank Delta Garage Racing Team, took to the circuit using a Hyundai Elantra N TCR car.
The Red and White racer steadily passed his opponents to then finish in front, repeating the success of the first series in Sepang last May.
This time Dypo beat Jiang Nan (Z Speed Motorsport) and Liu Qiren (Z Speed Motorsport).
By winning the podium in Race 5, Dypo managed to make the Indonesian National Anthem resound in the 2024 TCR Asia Series.
In Sepang three months ago, Dypo smoked Budiyanto from JVS Racing Team and Liu Qiren.
“Alhamdulillah, the first race at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand managed to become the champion (P1). There were no problems with the car, even though the introduction to the circuit was very brief,” Dypo told JPNN.com Monday (26/6).
