Province Approves Omnibus Law: Various Areas Affected, From Housing to Environmental Protection – News

BOLZANO. The omnibus bill was approved by the Provincial Council with 18 yes votes and 15 no votes (dlp 20/24).

It provides for amendments to provincial laws regarding provincial offices and personnel, development cooperation, education, culture, fire and civil protection, hunting and fishing, environmental and landscape protection, energy, water protection and use of public waters, food hygiene, heritage and finance, economic activities, public works, mountaineering, tourism, expropriations for public utility, subsidized housing, hygiene and health, assistance and charity, transport, apprenticeship.

The discussion was resumed this afternoon byArticle 25 which proposes changes to the provincial law on subsidized housing. After a long discussion, Councilor Ulli Mair responded by taking a position on the various amendments presented and justifying the rejection of those of the opposition – explaining among other things that the fund proposed to support housing for people who lose their rental contract with the amendment by the Green Group envisaged a mechanism that was too complicated.

“The Sinigo situation it was resolved, with good cooperation from the police, because the person left the Ipes accommodation; the Italian legal system in this case does not sufficiently protect the owner”, commented Mair. The two amendments of the assessor were approved, those of the opposition were rejected, the article was approved with 23 yes and 9 no.
