This center inaugurated, in the presence of the Wali-national coordinator of the INDH, Mohammed Dardouri, and the governor of the province of Berkane, Ali Habouha, was carried out with a financial contribution from the INDH of 1.8 million dirhams dedicated to its layout, equipment and management.
The project, led by the Provincial Association for the Development and Generalization of Education, has a capacity to accommodate 120 beneficiaries from targeted social categories, namely children, young people and children in situations mild disability.
The center which is made up in particular of an administration, an inclusive education space, a listening and orientation space, a computer room, a trades space, a gaming space, a scientific corner and an art space, aims to promote open-mindedness among children and young people, the social integration of children with mild disabilities and the development life skills in children and young people.
In the same town, Mr. Dardouri visited a medical-social center where explanations were provided to him on a pregnancy monitoring campaign and the health of pregnant women, which saw the mobilization of a dedicated connected mobile medical unit in obstetrics-gynecology, and on the home therapeutic support program.
In a statement to MAP, Mr. Dardouri specified that the inauguration of the center for development, animation and inclusive education and the visit to the medico-social center in the commune of Aghbal in the province of Berkane is part of the celebrations marking the anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People and the Youth Day.
He recalled on this occasion the particular interest given by the INDH in its third phase to the promotion of human capital, vulnerable groups and young people in accordance with the High Royal Guidelines, emphasizing the important projects carried out in this direction. at the level of the province of Berkane thanks to the efforts made by both the territorial administration, elected officials and civil society.
He continued that the governance mechanisms of the INDH advocated by these three parties made it possible to resolve many problems, particularly among young people, noting that the two socio-educational centers in the commune of Aghbal, built according to the required standards and benefiting from high-level supervision, offer children and young people an ideal environment for their development.
MM. Dardouri and Habouha also chaired, at the Innovation Center in Berkane, the ceremony of excellence in honor of the students who obtained the best results for the 2023/2024 school year at the provincial level who recorded an exceptional baccalaureate success rate, occupying first place in the Oriental region.
They also handed over keys to several school transport buses. This action is part of efforts aimed at strengthening the conditions conducive to academic success in rural areas by bringing the school closer to the students.
