Province of Midelt: Some 679 beneficiaries of a multidisciplinary medical caravan
Midelt – Some 679 people benefited from the services of a multidisciplinary medical caravan organized recently in the commune of Amouguer in the province of Midelt.
This initiative was organized by the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection in Midelt in partnership with the Provincial Council, the Municipal Council of Midelt, the territorial municipality of Amouguer and the local authorities.
According to a press release from the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection, this caravan aimed to bring medical services closer to citizens at the level of douars in the rural commune of Amouguer and meet the needs of the population in terms of health and medical care services.
This social and solidarity action offered health services and medical consultations in different disciplines, including gynecology, ophthalmology, cardiology, pediatrics and general medicine.
Mobilizing a medical staff made up of general practitioners and specialists, nurses and administrative and technical executives, this initiative was also marked by the organization of awareness sessions on maternal and child health.
This medical caravan was widely welcomed by the population of Amouguer, arousing great satisfaction among residents and local community stakeholders.
