This celebration, chaired by the governor of the province of Sidi Kacem, El Habib Nadir, in the presence of several personalities including the presidents of the local human development committees (CLDH), heads of decentralized services, presidents of municipalities, members of the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) and civil society actors, was an opportunity to take stock of the implementation of the Initiative’s projects and the progress of the projects scheduled for 2023.
Thus, in relation to “catching up on deficits in basic infrastructure and social services in under-equipped territories”, the period 2019-2022 was marked by the completion of 15 projects with the contribution of the INDH for 37.6 MDHS.
Regarding “support for people in precarious situations”, a total of 68 projects were carried out for a budget of 29 MDHS with the opening of 11 centers for the benefit of more than 40,000 beneficiaries, while in relation to the “improvement of income and economic inclusion of young people”, a Youth Platform, opened on February 27, 2020, was carried out and financed by the INDH to the tune of 9.7 MDHS.
As for the “stimulation of human capital of the rising generations”, a total investment of 138.6 MDHS was allocated to 76 projects/actions for the benefit of more than 30,000.
This celebration was marked in particular by the launch of the project to strengthen the production of drinking water in the centers of Zeggota, Selfate and neighboring douars, at a total cost of 22.10 MDHS, as well as the inauguration of the Dar Gueddari Maternity House, carried out for more than 5 MDHS.
Similarly, the governor and the delegation accompanying him visited many projects completed or in the process of being completed within the framework of Phase 3 of the INDH in the municipalities of Nouirate and Sidi Al Kamel.
