This Pole, built and equipped according to the most demanding standards in the field, is intended to be one of the eloquent illustrations in fact, of the exemplary and permanent commitment of the INDH in both urban and rural areas, in favor of promoting the health and well-being of this category of people via the establishment of adequate and local spaces. The aim is to help people with specific needs to overcome the difficulties encountered on a daily basis and to be able to benefit from real support on the path to their socio-economic integration.
This support center for people with specific needs, managed by the “Association of people with specific needs in Ighoud” in partnership with the INDH and the Entraide Nationale, offers a multitude of quality and local services, with a paramedical vocation for the benefit of beneficiaries in particular, in “speech therapy”, “psychomotricity”, “physiotherapy”, and “psychology”, or with an educational vocation (specialized education) for children aged between 2 and 8 years old, and between 9 and 16 years old among people with specific needs.
True to its philosophy and its pragmatic approach based on concrete results and therefore, a meticulous diagnosis on the ground, taking into account local specificities and the needs and expectations expressed by the populations, the INDH has spared no effort in providing the commune of Ighoud with a Multidisciplinary Social Complex, with the latest devices and equipment available.
This multidisciplinary complex, which also includes a center dedicated to the economic empowerment of women, is part of the implementation of the framework agreement relating to the project to enhance the Ighoud archaeological site and upgrade its environment.
Completed in a period of 10 months on a total surface area of 1,437 m2, including 903 m2 covered, this two-storey structure required a total budget allocated by the INDH of around 4,368,420 DH for construction, in addition to an amount of 1,401,430 DH dedicated to equipment, including 801,430 DH provided by the Initiative and 600,000 DH by the National Aid.

Another interface is dedicated to parents and guardians to closely monitor the treatment program provided to their children with special needs, he concluded.
