JAKARTA – DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemrov) will soon submit a tariff proposal Transjakarta buses the Kalideres Terminal-Soekarno Hatta (Soetta) Airport route of IDR 5,000 to the DPRD. The tariff proposal will be submitted next week.
“Next week (it will be handed over) to the DPRD,” Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono told reporters at Banteng Square, Central Jakarta, Saturday (12/8/2023).
However, the former Mayor of North Jakarta did not explain in detail the day and date for submitting the proposal to the DPRD. Previously, Heru Budi Hartono approved the Transjakarta bus fare for the Kalideres Terminal-Soekarno Hatta International Airport (Soetta) route of IDR 5,000.
The tariff is a proposal from the Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ). However, the tariff has not been officially enforced, because his party still has to wait for the DKI Jakarta DPRD’s approval.
“Yes, I agree (tariff of Rp. 5,000). Later we will ask for permission from the DPRD. According to the rules, we will write a letter asking for permission whether it is approved or not,” Heru told reporters, Friday (11/8/2023).
Previously, Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, explained that the IDR 5,000 tariff is the value after the ticket subsidy or public service obligation (PSO). “Of course there are subsidies. With an amount of IDR 5,000 there will be subsidies, because the economic tariff is IDR 12,000,” said Syafrin in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/8/2023).
