Commissioner Eshilrajan arranged to provide clean drinking water to houses in Thirukanur-Manalipat.
Drinking water is being supplied to the houses of Manalipattu village in Mannadipattu block through an overhead reservoir near Anjaneyar temple.
More than 30 houses on Manalipattu Main Road have been contaminated with soil mixed with drinking water for the past few days. The people of the area complained to the constituency MLA and Minister Namachivayath.
Subsequently, on the instructions of the minister, Manadidu Commune Panchayat Commissioner Eshilrajan inspected the area and started the work of fixing the contaminated drinking water with the help of employees.
Clean drinking water was provided after completion of the work. During this work, Assistant Engineer Mallikarjuna, Manager Anbazhagan and staff were present.
