PSG beat Chateauroux 1:3 in the French Cup

Paris Saint-Germain advanced today (Friday) in the French Cup after a match that was close for many minutes against Chateauroux from the third division. In the end, two late goals made it 1:3 for the French champions in the last 64 stage.

Hugo Aktika (13) scored first and then Theo Natola (37) equalized for Chateauroux. Towards the final minutes, Carlos Soler (78) and Juan Bernat (90+1) scored, in a game in which Sergio Ramos, Keylor Navas, Fabian Ruiz, Vitinia and Marquinhos also participated.

Unlike Paris Saint-Germain, Montpellier was eliminated from the cup after losing 2:1 to Pau from the second division. Mons Basomina (25) gave Pau the lead, and Lara Germain (70) equalized and Myron George (81), the substitute, scored a winning goal.

Another team from the top league, Strasbourg, was eliminated after losing 5:4 to Angers, who locked the table in the top French league, on penalties.
