PSG’s two winter recruits are present this Friday at the Poissy Campus. Luis Enrique’s squad returns to training in its high-tech center after eight days of vacation and a victory against Metz (3-1) during the 17th day of the championship. Gabriel Moscardo and Lucas Beraldo, the two Brazilian reinforcements, are indeed there.

The 18-year-old midfielder, from Corinthians, and the left central defender, from Sao Paulo, took the same plane on Thursday and arrived in France this Friday morning. They showed up at the Campus around 4 p.m. to take a battery of exams, one after the other. Unless the situation changes, they will each commit for five years to the capital club.

Debut against Revel?

The latter paid 20 million euros for Lucas Berlado and the same sum for Gabriel Moscardo, accompanied by 2 million euros in bonuses. Due to Presnel Kimpembe needing re-operation on his Achilles heel, PSG have more immediate need for the centre-back than the versatile midfielder (both 6 and 8).

Luis Enrique’s men have one session per day this Friday, tomorrow and Sunday before a day off on New Year’s Day. From January 3, they must play the Champions Trophy at the Parc des Princes against Toulouse then travel to Castres on Sunday in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France against US Revel. The two Brazilians, if they are qualified by then, could then make their big debut against the amateurs.
