PSG: Hakimi and Mukiele absent from training

by time news

After its difficult victory obtained against Brest (2-1) last Saturday, PSG is turned towards the reception of Stade Rennais this Sunday afternoon at the Parc des Princes (5:05 p.m.). Already deprived of many elements in defense last weekend, the Parisian staff is preparing for this meeting of the 28th day of Ligue 1 while still being deprived of several players from the defensive sector. During the training session which took place this Wednesday morning at Camp des Loges, Marquinhos, Nordi Mukiele and Achraf Hakimi, packages against Brest, were again missing.

The Brazilian is the victim of an insertion lesion of the abdominal muscles which woke up during the defeat against Bayern Munich. It should exclude him from the field at least until the weekend and therefore deprive him of the match against Rennes.

The French international still suffers from hamstrings while the Moroccan right side still feels muscle pain. The last medical press release from the Parisian club had however mentioned a return to training this week, without however indicating a precise date. We will therefore have to carefully monitor the evolution of their injuries in view of this weekend’s match.

Christophe Galtier’s staff therefore called on young Younes El Hannach, captain of the under-19 team, and Nehemiah Fernandez-Veliz to make up for these absences. Also note the presence of Ethan Mbappé during this training.
