Far from the tumult around his future and the ultimatum issued by its president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Kylian Mbappé continues his vacation. After a stint in Marrakech then a stay in Miami, the Paris Saint-Germain striker must go to Cameroon from this Thursday afternoon, reveals RFI.
The 2018 world champion is visiting the country where his father is from for the first time. He will notably be accompanied by Joakim Noah, son of Yannick Noah, himself from Cameroon. On Friday, Kylian Mbappé is due to visit a school in Yaoundé, the construction of which was financed by his foundation, before being received by Cameroonian Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute.
A match with Yannick Noah’s club
Above all, the striker will play football: he will take part in a match with the Vent d’Etoudi club, a Cameroonian second division team of which… Yannick Noah is precisely the chairman of the board of directors.
“Lately, they haven’t had the opportunity to play because the stadium was not in good condition. I was offered to be honorary president and I obviously accepted” explained the winner of Roland Garros 1983 at the microphone of Europe 1 at the beginning of June. The player will also stay two nights in Village Noah.
