PSG stumbles against Nice and lets the Ligue 1 lead slip away

The clash between Nice and Paris Saint-Germain, this Sunday (6), at the Allianz Riviera ended with a 1-1 draw, in a match that could put PSG at the top of the French Championship. Ali Abdi scored the goals, for Nice, and Nuno Mendes, for PSG, who now have 17 points, two less than leaders Monaco. Nice, in turn, is in ninth place, with only nine points.

PSG, led by Luis Enrique, showed dominance on the pitch, having 72% possession of the ball. However, the teams were unable to turn this victory around, without taking advantage of the opportunities that arose during the game.

There was a decisive moment in the first half when Ali Abdi opened the scoring for Nice in the 38th minute. After the break, PSG responded quickly, and Nuno Mendes equalized five minutes into the second half, guaranteeing at least one point for the Paris team.
