jpnn.comJAKARTA – Actor Ibnu Jamil also highlighted the decision of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) to fire Shin Tae-yong (STY), a coach from South Korea.
Ibnu Jamil also regretted PSSI’s decision to fire STY, who had coached the Indonesian National Team for five years.
“If Coach STY is fired, who will be his replacement? If the replacement fails, who is to blame?” wrote Ibnu, via his account on Instagram, Monday (6/1).
In his upload, Ririn Ekawati’s husband also shared a photo of his memories with Shin Tae-yong.
According to Ibnu, STY’s dismissal raises questions about the direction of PSSI policy amidst the public’s hopes for the progress of national football.

During his coaching period, Shin Tae-yong has brought positive changes to the Indonesian national team, including reaching the 2020 AFF Cup final and improving the national team’s performance in various international events.
However, various internal and external issues are thought to have triggered this decision. Ibnu Jamil also hopes that PSSI will have a thorough plan after STY’s dismissal.
