This mystery horror drama genre film features Arifin Putra, Cornelio Sunny, Nino Fernandez, Nadine Alexandra, Irwansyah, Marthino Lio, and Hannah Al Rashid.
Directed by Renaldo Samsara and Matthew Hart, Psykopat attempts to offer a different approach to the horror genre.
The filmmakers behind this film want to provide a new, deeper and more evocative experience, in line with the expectations of modern audiences who are increasingly critical and hungry for innovation.
One of the main innovations in Psychopath is the unique shooting technique. According to Renaldo Samsara, many scenes use 360 degree sets, so the camera captures viewpoints from all directions.
“The biggest technical challenge is ensuring that sound recording remains optimal, even though the sound operator has to adjust his position to follow the ongoing movement of the camera,” said Renaldo, Wednesday (8/1).
Not only that, the actors also faced new challenges with special helmets that supported the camera in front of their faces.
The 4.5 kg camera is designed to provide a point of view that makes the audience feel what each character is experiencing.
