Election of Indian Olympic Association officials was held in Delhi today. PT Usha, a 58-year-old former athlete from Kerala, who won several medals in the Asian Games and stood 4th in the 400m hurdles at the 1984 Olympics, is contesting for the post of Indian Olympic Association president.

He said that he has submitted his nomination for the post of Indian Olympic Association president with the support of fellow athletes and national sports federations. None other than PT Usha applied for the post of Indian Olympic Association president.
