jpnn.com – Athletes from Ahmad Sahroni’s bicycle racing club, ASC Monsters, met the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta on Sunday (12/1) morning.
During the meeting, Puan greeted the ASC Monsters athletes who had just finished their routine training session.
Sahroni, who was present at the meeting, told about the journey of his bicycle club which was formed in 2022.
He also expressed his commitment to making Indonesian bicycle racing proud on the world stage through ASC Monsters, which will never change.
“ASC Monsters was originally born in 2022, starting from my personal hobby, which is like cycling. Then as time went by, I saw that Indonesia actually has a lot of talented athletes, whose potential has not been maximized,” said Sahroni.
Starting from there, Sahroni together with ASC Monsters made up their mind to carry out coaching, starting from scouting, breeding, and intensive training at home and abroad to sending athletes to world competition events.
“Now, thank God, ASC Monsters has made Indonesia proud at the world level. We have won ASIA 4 times and Individual World Ranking number 7 and 8. Next we want to compete at the Continental Asia Team 2025 level,” said Sahroni.
Hearing this explanation, Puan admitted that she was amazed and appreciated the series of achievements that had been achieved by ASC Monsters. In front of the athletes, Puan advised them to continue to be consistent in training.
