Leon, Gto. May 03, 2023.- In a work session between the business and educational sector of upper secondary and higher level, the axes of the project “Join for Education” were presented, where Public and Private Universities joined and committed to collaborate.
The Secretary of Education in Guanajuato, Jorge Enrique Hernández Meza, highlighted that the work that the Secretariat has been doing with the private sector has been very productive, since the collaborative work between society and government and the importance of universities being able to share their knowledge and Experience with high school teachers pays more to the educational model, he said that this model and working together will revolutionize social participation in schools and with it the school itself.
The public and private educational institutions that are integrated into the initiative were the Official Normal School of León and the Tecnológico de León, with social service students; the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato UVEG, with online training support; the ITESM León campus and the Iberoamericana León University with professional practices, social service, workshops and training for teachers, in addition to the accompaniment and adoption of schools.
SABES is also added through the support of university students to advise secondary and high school students; The Humani Mundial University joined, as did the Technological University of León, through its University Social Responsibility projects.
The “Súmate por la Educación” model is a project that will allow us to work, not only on the infrastructure of schools, but on aspects such as security and, in an integral way, with the educational community, teachers, parents, the around; in formative aspects such as the promotion of culture, sports, art, science and aspirational models that offer students other development perspectives for their future.
“Join for Education” is a comprehensive project that was born as a continuation of the initiative of the Guanajuato business community to work in coordination with the State Government in support of education.
