If you haven’t yet taken your leave for 2024, pay attention. Of the eleven public holidays that mark the year, a majority of them will allow you to enjoy numerous days of rest. Sometimes on the condition of taking extra days.
Many of us hope every year that the holidays fall in the middle of the week. A wish that will be granted in 2024. Next year, only one public holiday will fall on a weekend. It is July 14, which will be a Sunday. All other days will allow you to take a break during the week.
Long weekends in perception
Next year, New Year’s Day will be on a Monday. Easter Monday will take place on April 1, the same day as April Fool’s Day. Two three-day weekends in perspective, therefore. Labor Day (May 1) will fall on a Wednesday. But the good news does not stop there, since the Victory of 1945 and the Ascension will take place in the same week: Wednesday May 8 and Thursday May 9. By filing on Friday the 10th, you will benefit from a five-day long weekend. If you add Monday 6 and Tuesday 7, nine days of rest are available to you. All Saints’ Day and the Armistice of 1918 will fall on a Friday and a Monday respectively. Next year we will celebrate Christmas on a Wednesday.
