Puducherry: The Governor’s House Secretariat has announced that public meetings will be held on the first and third Saturdays of every month at Rajniwas. The Puducherry Governor’s House, Rajniwas was built during the French rule. Earlier Governor Kiranbedi opened the Governor’s House for public viewing. He also personally met and discussed with the public and tourists coming to the Governor’s House.
Visiting the Governor’s House is allowed from Monday to Saturday. According to this, the public visited the governor’s house after pre-registration. In this situation, the current governor is planning to hold a meeting of the people of Tamil Nadu.
A press release has been issued by the Governor’s House Secretariat regarding this; Many people who want to meet the Puducherry Governor are currently making reservations and meeting him. Also, as many people and people belonging to various sectors want to meet the Governor, from today 8th, ‘People’s meeting’ will be held on the first and third Saturdays of every month. Those who want to meet the Governor should call 0413-2334050, 2334051 and make a reservation. The appointment to meet the Governor will be made on a priority booking basis.
